+              do not reset environment variables

+       -p     same as -m
+
+       -s, --shell=SHELL
+              run SHELL if /etc/shells allows it

+       --help display this help and exit

+       --version
+              output version information and exit
+
+       A mere - implies -l.   If USER not given, assume root.
